The Byre, Glasphein

Glasphein is located in the scenic Glendale area in the North / West corner of the stunning Isle of Skye. The area is well known for its natural beauty and abundance of wild life. From your doorstep you can start exploring the many walks and the nearby shore, and a short drive away is the popular visitor attraction Neist Point where you can witness spectacular sunsets, although luckily for you, these can also be viewed directly from the property! The village of Glendale boasts a very well equipped licensed shop / post office and a popular café, all of which are within easy walking distance of the property. Less than a 10-minute drive is the world famous Three Chimneys restaurant where you can treat yourself to an evening of fine dining.

A 15-minute drive away is the larger village of Dunvegan where you can explore the famous Dunvegan Castle and its beautiful gardens along with shops / cafes / garage / ATM. Here you will also find The Old School restaurant, serving fresh local seafood and meat, which is popular with both visitors and locals alike. Further afield is the main town of Portree (approximately 35 miles away from the property) which has a good selection of shops / a supermarket / restaurants / pubs and all of the amenities you would expect to find in a main town.
